Moonlight

The "moon" in the river looked bigger than the real moon in the sky because my tripod was set up into the water so that I could get the closest viewpoint. This image was taken in Tasman River, Mt Cook, at 6.48am of the local time, while the far away mountain peak was already illuminated by the rising sun behind the mountain.

From a technical viewpoint, this was a difficult shot. I used one Singh Ray 3 f-stop reverse GND plus a 2 f-stop GND (soft) to balance the light between the sky and foreground. The bright moonlight gave some advantage to make this shot more precise.
