Three Sister Beach

Three Sister Beach

After I had two backpacking trips to Mount Taranaki, I went to Mokau - a tiny town about 80 km north of New Plymouth. The Three Sister Beach is a major attraction around Mokau. Differently from many other beaches in New Zealand, Three Sister Beach is only accessible during the low tide. There is a long channel one has to walk in order to get to the beach. Obviously, when the tide is high, this channel will be filled with water.

For this shot, I used my new filter system NiSi filters on 14-24mm f/2.8 lens. Two filters were used: 0.9 GND soft + 0.9 ND.
