Norah Head Sunset

Norah Head Sunset

It was heavy raining in Sydney on that day, but I liked to try my luck for taking a sunset shot of Norah Head, which is 130 KM away from my home. When I was there, it was also raining. I stood in the shallow water to take this shot. Since the tide was getting higher and higher, I had to cut down the original 8 minute exposure to about 4 minutes by raising ISO to 200. Although it was raining, the sunset light still caused a pink cast over the sky. To protect my camera and lens, I used a big umbrella during during the exposure time.
