Kiama is a seaside town on the east coast of Australia, located about 100 kms south of Sydney. This image was made on 20 Nov 2011. I arrived the coast before 5am. It seemed to be another featureless morning. However we never know what would happen before the last moment arrives.

Clouds were moving fast from north to the east. By the time the sun jumped above the horizon, the clouds just blocked the sun and the sky changed dramatically. Although it only lasted a few minutes, it was sufficient for me to capture this beautiful Kiama sunrise.
