Patagonia Autumn Night

Patagonia Autumn Night

A 40-days expedition to Patagonia (Los Glaciares National Park) certainly meant a lot to me: it was not only for photography and mountain climbs, but also for exploring and discovery.

This image was taken on 10 May 2016, around 7:30am just before twilight, while the Milky Way was just above Fitz Roy peaks, which were already illuminated even the sun was still below the horizon. This photo consists of three successive shots, two for the sky and sky reflection in the water, respectively, with shooting data of 20mm, f/2.8, 25 seconds and ISO 3200; and one for the foreground immediately following the sky shot with a longer exposure time (3 minutes) and lower ISO (640).
