It has been almost three years since I visited New Zealand before Covid-19 in 2019. Winter of the South Island is peaceful and beautiful. It is still the place I enjoy the most. The image was taken at midnight of 4 July 2022, while the mountains surrounding Lindis Pass were covered by heavy snow, and the Milky Way displayed an amazing starry sky for this unique landscape.
