During my second trip to Mount Aspiring, after I turned back to Colin Todd Hut from the summit attempt, the weather changed dramatically. A storm lasted for 2 days.
This image was taken during a short break of the storm. Since the temperature in this place was dramatically increased after the storm, snow started melting and formed some rarely seen "Glacier Waterfalls". But just after less than 2 hours, these waterfalls disappeared when the temperature dropped again.
This was a very rare phenomenon I have ever seen in glaciers.
