Under the Mist and Blazing Sun
Blue Mountains - one of the most famous natural landmarks of Sydney. I cannot remember how many times I have taken picture of this elegant Three Sisters, but this time was very different. I was shooting time-lapse at this spot in an afternoon of late September 2020. I used two cameras side by side to shot at the same time: one D850 with lens 14-24mm f/2.8, and one D810 with lens 14-24mm f/2.8. Yes, I have two 14-24mm f/2.8 lenses. The weather was changing dramatically during my shooting - it started to rain, while the sun still broke from layers of clouds, shinning light on the Three Sisters, amazing double rainbows appeared just across the Three Sisters. One can even clearly see those flying rain lines from the right lower corner.
This panorama image was a result of two shots taken from D850 and D810 at the same time, respectively, stitching together in Photoshop.
